Weather-compensated two-stage heating control with circulation pump logic, three-step output and storage electronics
Control functions
Two-point control loop for weather-compensated control of a boiler. The boiler temperature is controlled according to the outdoor temperature, the heating curve and the room set points. With a low outside temperature, a correspondingly higher boiler temperature is run and with an increasing outside temperature, the boiler temperature decreases to the bottom of the heating curve or to the fixed value of the boiler minimum limit. The minimum limitation can be set between 10 and 60°C depending on the boiler type. Due to the gliding boiler operation, the radiator heating system is controlled directly and without a mixer.
Three-point control loop with PI characteristic for weather-compensated control of an underfloor heating system or a radiator heating system The downstream three-point control is operated via a mixer by means of a servo motor. The running time of the motor can be between 1 and 4 minutes and can be adjusted on the device if necessary. The control characteristic is set via a separately acting heating curve. On request, a remote control or a room sensor for room temperature monitoring can be connected to a heating circuit.
Electronic storage tank temperature control with automatic storage tank priority circuit and electronic charging pump overrun. The storage tank temperature is determined by means of a potentiometer from the controller. If the hot water temperature falls below the value set at the set point adjuster, the controller switches off the circulation pump and starts the charging pump and the burner. This ensures immediate heating of the domestic hot water. After heating has been completed, the charging pump after-running starts to function for approx. four minutes. The heating operation is then continued.
